Welcome to Whaley Bridge Bowling Club. We are located in Whaley Bridge in the High Peak District of Derbyshire, about 7 miles north of Buxton and 16 miles south-east of Manchester. The Bowling Club’s pavilion and bowling green date from 1907. Access is on Buxton Road between the Primary School and the School Garage.

A Bowling Club For Everyone

Whether playing, socialising or using our function room facilities, we are a club for the whole community. Beginners are always welcome and experienced club members are very happy to help beginners get started with advice on the game and on the necessary equipment. The equipment is actually nothing more than a pair of bowls (or woods) of the correct type and a pair of suitable shoes. The Club has some spare bowls that new members can borrow while they look for something of their own.
